Earth Weave’s new Catskill Area Rug Collection is a non-toxic, super-soft, luxurious, cut pile all wool area rug displayed in a breathtaking array of light and dark earth tone colors. It’s available in 4’x6′, 6’x9′, 8’x10′ and 10’x12′. Unlike other brands, all of Earth Weave’s carpets and area rugs are made without any hazardous ingredients: no toxic dyes or moth protection, no chemical stain protection, no synthetic latex adhesives (styrene butadiene) or formaldehyde in the backing and no synthetic anything. 100% pure virgin wool from Europe with a primary backing made from natural hemp and cotton, bound to the yarn with all-natural rubber. The secondary backing is made of jute.
This is the only Zero VOC wool area rug we’ve found and is completely safe for everyone, including those with chemical sensitivities.

Earth Weave shipping policies
Due to increasingly high global shipping costs, some Earth Weave products include an additional shipping charge depending on size and weight. In addition, they do NOT qualify for free shipping. We did not make this decision lightly, and we kept this additional charge as low as we possibly could. All of our competitors add large shipping charges to heavy items and we simply could not continue to provide free shipping. Should you find a better price anywhere after shipping costs have been added, please contact Suzanne@gimmethegoodstuff.org and we will do everything we can to meet that price.
In rare instances we are quoted shipping prices from the supplier that exceeds what we’ve calculated by more than 20%. In these cases, we may contact you to approve an additional charge. You can expect to hear from us within a few days of purchase. Should you choose to cancel the order at this time, you will be refunded fully.
This product ships directly from the manufacturer and may take 2-3 weeks to arrive (although often less!). All rugs are final sale, no returns or exchanges accepted. Because this item ships directly from the manufacturer we are unable to provide any express shipping service for this product. This brand only ships to the contiguous United States. Excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Canada.

I love this rug! I ordered the 6’x 9′ in Heron for my home office in our new house. The color is exactly as pictured – a lovely light grey/natural neutral. I have a non-skid rug pad (also from Earth Weave) under it, and even without a thick rug pad, it feels so soft and plush underfoot! There was only a faint wool smell that doesn’t bother me at all. The rug is pilling and shedding a bit where my feet go under my desk, but I think all wool rugs shed at first. Overall, I’m delighted with my purchase!
