I recently finally decided to tackle finding a replacement for my conventional deodorant and I bought Schmidts in bergamot+lime, honestly only because it was the only good stuff stick option I could find locally. But I LOVE it! It smells good, and it truly controls odor way better than the bad stuff I was previously using. I wouldn’t switch back to my old stuff now even if it wasn’t bad stuff.

I saw your add that your selling this now so I had to add my own personal experience incase others were curious. I haven’t been able to find the stick version but I do have the glass container in the bergamot lime and I love it. I’ve tried a few of the brands on your best list and this and primal pit paste are the only two that work well for me. I absolutely love the scent and the texture. As you’ve said you have to get used to non toxic deodorant and I suggest detoxing w benzonite clay, but this stuf really does work great. I don’t mind using the applicator and applying w fingers but I think I’ll be ordering the stick version you have for extra convenience.

I purchased the jar version in Lavender and Sage and just love it! However this time I will be getting the stick just for the convenience of it. This is thee best natural deodorant I’ve tried and I’m so pleased I took a chance to try it…I’ll never go back to the others. Thank you, Robin

I recently switched from conventional deodorant to Schmidt’s sensitive and I love it! My only question is the ingredients say “natural fragrance” for the one I am currently useing (jasmine tea)… that doesn’t sound like an essential oil – is it safe?
Maia James –
Yes, it’s all natural fragrance–no phthalates.

Having never really had a problem with perspiration in the past, (really…I have always been very thin and that help the body stay cool!) I was kind of amazed at how quickly I started perspiring when I gained some weight (about time now that I am retired!) . And, I learned how much I hated deoderants! While helping with wetness, I noticed that I smelled! I NEVER had this problem before. Needless to say, my body did not like deodorants. So I did some research, found your site and, Voila, I found Schmidt’s stick. Not only does it help control wetness naturally by aborbing the damp and then dissipating it, but there is no smell…. whatsoever! And, I know my body loves it…..no reactions, including rashes, or itching…nothing. Thank you for posting the info on this wonderful deodorant! I would recommend it to anyone. And, it is in stick form, so, easy to apply.

Thanks for the feedback–we feel the same way about Schmidt’s:)

I love the smell of this deodorant. I tried contacting them to find out what essential oil they are using, because my son is allergic to many flowers. They never did contact me back with the actual essential oils they use??? I can’t even decipher which essential oils they use for this deodorant. Not sure why they don’t write it on the package.
