Product Description

Finally, a solid dish soap that is entirely toxin and plastic free! Almost all dish soaps are given a terrible safety rating by the Environmental Working Group, so it has been a serious undertaking to find something truly safe and effective. This tallow-based bar soap lathers well and is super gentle on your hands. I’ve found that it’s most effective when you rinse and reload the sponge frequently. It’s best for direct washing with a sponge (instead of filling a sink with soapy water), and doubles as a pre-wash treatment for clothing stains. 3.5 ounces.

All Tandi’s Naturals products are 100% natural, and ingredients are locally sourced from Lancaster, PA. Never tested on animals.

Nice try but doesn’t cut it. I really wanted this to work. I bought a number of bars and tried it over the course of a few months. The verdict is that it smells great, but makes a poor dish soap. The main problem is that it leaves a waxy layer on everything you wash, requiring a lot of extra rinsing. It will also wind up leaving a thick waxy layer on your sink that will require weekly removal with vinegar. Otherwise it works ok on dished and glasses (with a lot of rinsing) but poorly on pots and pans even if they’re not greasy but especially if they are greasy. If you want all natural dish soap, then you’re better off making your own.

This being said, I love pretty much everything else made by Tandi except for their scouring powder, which is also an epic fail.

This dish soap works phenomenally on stemware. It makes crystal sparkle.
It’s a underwhelming performer on greasy dishes, pots and pans.
