So sorry for the long delay, friends! I haven’t blogged here in way too long, in part because of holiday insanity (including a long break from preschool for Felix), but also because we have been super busy with a bunch of other exciting projects. A few of these include:
1. I am now blogging on the Huffington Post! You can find me at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/maia-james. Look for a new entry this week on easy ways to banish phthalates for good (one of my New Year’s resolutions).
2. Gimme the Good Stuff is getting a face lift! We are hoping to launch our gorgeous new website in February, and we cannot wait. Everything will be easier to read, prettier, and more navigable, and the store will have expanded offerings (including registries and subscriptions services). Please email me with types of products or specific products that you’d like us to carry!
3. We offer more consulting than ever. You can enjoy ultimate peace of mind and save hours (days? years?) of Googling by taking advantage of one of our consulting packages, which begin at just $150 (the Platinum package includes floor to ceiling in-home evaluation of EVERYTHING you use in your home–from dishes to diapers to paint to furniture to shampoo…you get the idea). Email me for more info.
4. Both of my parents are now practicing holistic health coaches. While my mom and dad continue to be a huge part of Gimme the Good Stuff, they have also taken their 30+ years of studying natural health and combined it with an intensive program at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City. They work with clients to make healthy eating easy, and help their clients lose weight, increase energy, or cook more nourishing meals for their families. Email Suzanne for more information.
I am sorry again for the lack of recent blog entries here–and I thank you all for your continued comments, questions, and sense of humor as we all try to improve ourselves without losing our minds. Please keep the emails coming (as many of you know, I do eventually respond to every single one)…oh, and don’t forget to connect to us on Facebook if you haven’t already.
