MamaSuds Wool Dryer balls are handmade, felted, unscented, and 100% *raw wool. MamaSuds Dryer Balls can?dry your clothes faster (15-25% faster!) and?soften your clothing. MamaSuds Dryer Balls work by circulating the air in the dryer which allows the air to reach more of the laundry more quickly, causing the clothes to dry sooner. Using more balls increases their effectiveness, in my opinion, 3 is the least you should have in a regular-sized dryer, 4-6 dryer balls are optimal.

Why not use conventional dryer sheets? Here are some ingredients found in them:

• Enzyl Acetate: Linked to pancreatic cancer
• Benzyl Alcohol: Upper respiratory tract irritant
• Ethanol: On the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Hazardous Waste list and can cause central nervous system disorders
• A-Terpineol: Can cause respiratory problems, including fatal edema, and central nervous system damage
• Ethyl Acetate: A narcotic on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list
• Chloroform: Neurotoxic, anesthetic and carcinogenic
• Pentane: A chemical known to be harmful if inhaled

Colors (white to beige) and sizes may vary, but each MamaSuds Dryer ball weighs at LEAST 2?ounces!

*Raw wool is washed once before processed into roving. It is not dyed, therefore you will find different lengths (short and long), colors (mostly beige, but some brown and black), and even a piece of hay once in a while.
