Filtration and Testing
Epic reports that the Pure XP filter is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 and independently tested to additional NSF/ANSI standards for specific contaminant reductions. Certification scope and reduction rates differ by contaminant. Review the supplier's published test data rather than interpreting any single percentage as applying to every substance.

Care and Replacement Filters
Replace the filter according to its capacity and the manufacturer's instructions. Epic's Pure XP replacement filters use a replaceable inner cartridge; confirm the appropriate filter format and housing before ordering a replacement. Always follow setup and cleaning instructions. Filtration systems should not be relied upon as the sole treatment for water of unknown microbiological safety.
