2026 Natural Easter Basket Ideas

In This Guide

Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays, although we do it in a totally secular way. For me, it’s a celebration of spring itself: a nod to rebirth in the most natural sense—think baby chicks and budding flowers more than anything religious. Although one of these years I do hope to make it to our neighborhood church on Easter Sunday, because the Jesus story—of love, renewal, and hope—is a beautiful one, too!

In any case, when my boys were little, I went all out with the baskets and seasonal decor. These days, it’s harder to find things that feel special, are toxin-free/healthy, and still excite older kids.

Lucky for me, I still get to channel my Easter energy into creating these basket-filler guides. Keep reading for 24 gifts (and some bonus ideas!).

6 More Resources for a Healthier Easter

    1. Of course my mother always made chocolate (or perhaps it was carob) in the shape of a big bunny, using a stainless steel mold that seems to no longer be sold anywhere. These silicone molds are what I’ve used instead.
    2. You can get hollow wooden eggs from Etsy to paint and fill with candy and use year after year.
    3. If you want a bigger ticket item on Easter morning, this rabbit riding toy is made from natural wood.
    4. As for the Easter basket itself, my all time favorite is this one, and this one is also beautiful–and more affordable.
    5. Want to grow your own grass? It’s easy and baby Wolfie shows you how here (above).
    6. If you’re looking a great spring book for the whole family, here’s one that’s on my list.

    Stay sane,
