Do Cloth Diapers Prevent Diaper Rash?
My hunch is that cloth diapers are less likely to cause diaper rash than are disposables because cotton is more breathable than plastic, but I haven’t found studies to support this idea.
Note: If you are using cloth diapers, you’ll want to avoid any diaper rash cream that contains zinc, as it can build up in the diaper and render it less effective. I’ve indicated below which rash treatments have zinc.

Have you had a chance to look at Weleda’s new White Mallow line? The ingredient list is different than the Calendula. Wondering if it’s safer enough to be “good stuff” or not yet. It has the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. PS We love your website! BabyGanics doesn’t use all organic ingredients, which is one reason I think they are sneaky (given the company name!). Overall, they are still better than a mainstream brand, and I don’t think you’re harming your baby by using their diaper cream. But I definitely think there are better options out there.
