SMART Cartridge
- Coconut shell granulated activated carbon (Arsenic-Free GAC™) adsorbs a wide variety of organic contaminants, bad taste, and odors from drinking water.
- Ion exchange resin reduces heavy metals such as lead, copper, and aluminum, as well as water hardness.
- A proprietary house blend of 2 types of coconut-shell GAC (including Catalytic) with 2 types of Eagle Redox Alloys® (9500 & 6500) and anion exchange resin effectively reduces and removes heavy metals, chlorine and chloramine, pesticides and herbicides, pharmaceutical by-products, and other inorganic substances such as petroleum byproducts.
