The CRISTEL Strate® Stainless Steel Frying Pan combines durable 18/10 stainless steel with a high-performance thermodiffuser base for precise, even cooking. Designed for searing meat and creating flavorful pan juices, the frying pan supports fat-free cooking when properly preheated and allows meat to develop a flavorful crust before deglazing.
Available in six sizes—8", 8.5", 9.5", 10", 11", and 12"—the Strate® frying pan offers versatility for everyday cooking. The detachable handle system allows the long handle to be replaced with side handles, transforming the frying pan into a convenient serving dish while also providing a space-saving storage solution.
The 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface helps preserve the natural taste of food and is easy to clean. For fish, eggs, and potatoes, the Strate® non-stick frying pan is recommended.

Cooking & Care Instructions:
Preheat the stainless steel cookware until drops of water form tiny, rolling bubbles. Reduce the heat by approximately one-third before adding food. Meat may initially stick to the cooking surface but should release naturally as moisture develops.
Once the desired temperature is reached, reduce the heat source to prevent overheating. When cooking with gas, ensure the flame does not extend beyond the thermodiffuser base.
For low-temperature cooking, use very little water and cook gently with the lid on to minimize evaporation. When boiling, add salt after the water begins to boil and ensure it dissolves completely.
CRISTEL stainless steel cookware with detachable components is oven-safe up to 550°F. Glass lids are oven-safe up to 400°F. Avoid thermal shock by preventing sudden transitions between very hot and very cold temperatures.
Detachable Handle Safety:
Detachable handles are designed for maneuvering cookware between the stovetop, oven, and table and should not remain attached while cooking. Although heat-resistant, prolonged exposure to heat may affect the detaching mechanism over time.
