The Golden Designs GDI-8203-01 “Drammen” is a 3-person traditional steam sauna engineered for outdoor use (can also be installed indoors) with an all-weather exterior, natural Canadian Red Cedar interior, and an integrated 8.0 kW stove with built-in controls. Its expansive footprint (79.2" W x 71" D x 88.3" H) and tall interior (75" H) create a comfortable seating environment for families and wellness routines, while the clear tempered-glass door and accent lighting elevate the look on a patio, pool deck, or home spa.
Built for year-round performance, Drammen pairs durable exterior cladding with the warmth, aroma, and stability of Canadian Red Cedar inside. The large heater and stone bed support authentic löyly and fast heat recovery between steam bursts. For everyday convenience, a touch-screen interior control panel manages lighting and the built-in FM/Bluetooth audio system and performance speakers, so you can settle in with music or a podcast without extra hardware.
Heating performance targets the sweet spot for traditional saunas: 170–185°F ideal range, with capability up to 190°F (room construction, ambient temperature, and stone load affect results). The 8.0 kW stove is specified for 240 V / 40 A on a dedicated circuit (electrician required). House functions such as lighting and audio operate on a separate 120 V / 15 A circuit. This separation helps simplify service and keeps high-load heating isolated from low-voltage accessories.
Inside the cabin, the 75" x 53.4" x 75" (W x D x H) interior provides comfortable space for three users and features a backrest with accent lighting, an oversize chromotherapy ceiling light, and white indirect bench lighting that creates a calm, even wash. A traditional accessory set—sandglass, bucket, and scoop—comes standard for consistent pours. The clear door keeps the room feeling open while the structure and seals help preserve heat when you’re at temperature.
If you’re seeking a three-seat outdoor traditional sauna with premium materials, authentic stove heat, and modern creature comforts (Bluetooth audio, chromotherapy, glass door), the GDI-8203-01 Drammen offers a balanced, specification-driven package for patios, poolside placements, and garden wellness spaces—while remaining flexible enough for indoor installation when desired.
