Haakaa Silicone Feeding Tube Set

Directions

1. Insert both the inlet and outlet tubes into the tube adapter. Thread the outlet tube through the flow controller.
2. Push the thick inlet tube through the X-shaped opening on the Variable Flow Nipple and pull it through until it reaches the milk inside the bottle. Attach the nipple to the bottle.
3. Position the thin outlet tube approximately 1–2 cm from the nipple and secure with the included medical tape.
4. Begin breastfeeding and gently guide the outlet tube into baby’s mouth to start feeding.
5. When using a Haakaa Gen. 3 Baby Bottle, gently squeeze the silicone bottle to control milk flow. Increase pressure to increase flow or reduce pressure to slow it down.
6. When using another compatible bottle with an X-shaped variable flow nipple, place the bottle in an elevated position above the outlet tube to begin milk flow.
7. Adjust the included flow controller as needed to achieve a suitable feeding rate.

Cleaning and Care

Clean after each use. Use the included cleaning brush to scrub the inside of the tubing before rinsing thoroughly with hot water. For easier cleaning, insert the brush handle-first through the tube and pull through.

Steam sterilization or boiling in water for 2–3 minutes is recommended. Do not use bleach-based cleaning agents or sterilizing tablets. Avoid UV sterilizers, as they may reduce the lifespan of the product.

Caution

• Inspect product condition before each use and discontinue use immediately if signs of damage appear.
• Do not store near sharp objects.
• Although compatible with other X-shaped nipples, use with a Haakaa Gen. 3 Variable Flow Nipple is recommended. Smaller nipples may tear during tube insertion.
• Only soft-bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used for cleaning, as abrasive materials may scratch the surface.
• Exposure to detergent may cause silicone components to appear cloudy.
• This product is not a toy and should only be used for its intended purpose.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Adult supervision is required during use.
