Description

From Studio to Home: The Craft Behind the Towel

Produced in Nakhon Ratchasima, the historic heartland of Thai textiles, this tea towel reflects generations of weaving knowledge and respect for nature. The carefully selected cotton-linen blend is chosen for its superior absorbency, soft hand feel, and long-lasting strength.

Precision weaving techniques ensure consistent cloth width and high thread tension, creating a hard-working fabric built to withstand daily kitchen use while aging beautifully over time.

The Colors of Nature

Each shade is derived from locally sourced, upcycled plant materials, dyed using hot-water extraction (80–60°C) followed by a cold-dye process to preserve botanical integrity and minimize waste.

  • Damask (Deep Earth Red): Mahhuut fruit, sappan wood, and natural lac
  • Petal (Terracotta Brown): Padauk tree bark, naturally fixed with eucalyptus leaves
  • Coconut (Beige Nude-Pink): Upcycled Thai fragrant coconut husks
  • Sunray (Warm Yellow): Mahhuut fruit peel
  • Sage (Muted Khaki Green): Indian almond leaves, refined with fermented ebony mud
Durable Beauty for Everyday Use

Highly absorbent and resilient, the cotton-linen blend is designed for daily kitchen tasks. Its texture softens and improves with time, making each towel a long-lasting, functional piece of textile art.

Zero-Waste Commitment: After dye extraction, all remaining botanical matter is composted and returned to the soil as natural fertilizer.

Care Guide
  • Wash: Cold machine wash on delicate cycle with mild detergent
  • Avoid: Bleach and fabric softener
  • Dry: Tumble dry low or air dry
  • Iron: Cotton setting with a pressing cloth
  • Store: Away from direct sunlight to preserve natural dyes

Note: Due to the use of 100% natural dyes without chemical fixatives, subtle fading and tonal shifts may occur over time. This is a natural and beautiful evolution of the fabric. Wash separately.
