The composition—half Lapsang Souchong with a quarter each of Jade Oolong and Keemun Black—creates a bold, sharp, and cozy tea, ideal for winter days or reflective moments.
The tradition of Russian Caravan tea dates back over 200 years, originating from the overland camel caravans transporting tea from southern China to Moscow. Exposure to campfire smoke during the long journey imparted the tea’s characteristic smoky notes, which were later appreciated by Russian consumers as superior to the flavor obtained through sea transport.
