Cooking & Care Instructions:
The CRISTEL thermodiffuser base is designed for optimal heat distribution. Once the desired temperature is reached, reduce the heat source to prevent overheating. When cooking with gas, ensure the flame does not extend beyond the thermodiffuser base.
For fat-free cooking, preheat the stainless steel cookware until drops of water form tiny, rolling bubbles. Reduce the heat by approximately one-third before adding food. For low-temperature cooking, use very little water and cook gently with the lid on to minimize evaporation.
When boiling, add salt after the water begins to boil and ensure it dissolves completely.
CRISTEL stainless steel cookware with detachable components is oven-safe up to 550°F, while glass lids are oven-safe up to 400°F. Avoid thermal shock by preventing sudden transitions between very hot and very cold temperatures.
Detachable Handle Safety:
Detachable handles are designed for maneuvering cookware between the stovetop, oven, and table and should not remain attached while cooking. Although heat-resistant, prolonged exposure to heat may affect the detaching mechanism over time. Detachable handles are sold separately.
